Meet the Team

Brien has been involved in economic development across Oklahoma for 20 years, and he is an expert in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors. During his career so far, Brien has been responsible for $2 billion in capital investment projects, aided with business retention initiatives, and worked as a Manufacturing Extension Agent through the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University (double majoring in management and economics) as well as an MBA from Southeastern Oklahoma State University (concentrating on management). Additionally, Brien is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) through the International Economic Development Council and sits on the board of directors for Heartland Basic Economic Development Training Course at the University of Northern Iowa.

Rue Ramsey leads the efforts to ensure that the Tulsa region is well-equipped to supply the skilled workers employers need. As a former career and technical education teacher, college and career readiness specialist and director, Rue has more than 20 years’ experience in creating initiatives and developing programs to better align strategies across industry sectors to provide collaborative solutions for workforce development. She was instrumental in creating internship programs at schools, college and career fairs and educator/business rounds for the region.

Rue is a native of the greater Tulsa area and a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where she majored in Management and Human Relations. Rue is also pursuing her designation as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).

Ama is the Vice president of Research for Economic Development at the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce. Her work includes research to support business attraction, business retention, workforce and talent strategy efforts of the Chamber as well as regional partners and investors. Prior to joining the Tulsa Regional Chamber, Ama was a Senior Quantitative Research Analyst at True North Strategic Advisors. She worked extensively on research projects for the Northeast Indiana Regional partnership where she developed a passion for economic development research.

She is a Ph.D. Economist with a strong research and statistical modeling background. Her fields of specialization include Development & Monetary Economics. Ama was awarded the Graduate Research and Creative Scholar Award for her PhD program at Western Michigan University. Prior to her Doctorate program, she completed a master’s degree in Financial and Regulatory Economics from Illinois State University. She is also currently advancing towards pursuing her designation as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).

Angie Zaricor is Senior Director of Regional Partnerships and Special Projects for the Tulsa Regional Chamber where she leads Tulsa’s Future Regional Partners in the convening and sharing of economic development best practices. She also serves as the chief liaison to the Tulsa’s Future Steering Committee and Technical Advisory Committee.

Katie serves as Director of Economic Development at the Tulsa Regional Chamber, where she helps lead business recruitment and attraction efforts for the Tulsa’s Future initiative. Katie is a lifelong Oklahoman, spending most of her life here in the Tulsa region. With an extensive background in the public sector, Katie has experience on a local level with strategic planning, grant administration, and project management. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in General Business from Oklahoma State University, complemented by minors in both Finance and Economics. She has also completed the International Economic Development Council’s True South Basic Economic Development Course at the University of Southern Mississippi. Katie is also currently advancing towards pursuing her designation as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).
