Regional Talent Recruitment & Attraction Initiatives

Northeast Oklahoma is working together to attract and retain talent, ensuring the regional workforce can meet the needs of new and existing businesses and industries. Below are just a few examples of how we’re working collectively to bring fresh talent to the region.

Campus Tulsa is a comprehensive internship experience offering young professionals more than just work experience in Tulsa. After helping students find the summer internship, the program helps participants find housing, connect with other interns and opportunities in the city and experience Tulsa in a way that highlights the city’s potential and gives students perspective into its future trajectory.

TYPROS is one of the largest young professionals organizations in the country and its mission is to make Tulsa an awesome city for young professionals to live, work and play. TYPROS programming and events connect people, develop leaders and build community in Tulsa.

Tulsa’s NextGEN Talent is a summer externship experience for Black Tulsa-area high school students. The goal of TNT is to ensure a bright, diverse group of students are connected to business leaders and career opportunities in Tulsa before they leave for college.

Tulsa Innovation Labs is dedicated to building an inclusive tech and innovation economy in Tulsa. Programming focuses on supporting startups, spurring academic innovation and developing talent related to select tech industries.

Tulsa Service Year provides recent college graduates the opportunity to participate in a year of hands-on service work in Tulsa, learning and working alongside creative, ambitious, passionate social strategists and entrepreneurs.

InTulsa works with innovative companies and diverse talent to help grow Tulsa into a vibrant and inclusive community. With public-private, city-wide partnerships, inTulsa focuses on expanding Tulsa’s diversified industries, innovative opportunities and impactful roles.

Build inTulsa works to create a scalable, tech-forward business and entrepreneurship ecosystem to catalyze
the creation of generational Black wealth. Build inTulsa focuses on tech innovation, entrepreneurship, business and capital and seeks to radically change the business landscape for Black America and produce new generations of Black economic leaders and philanthropists.
